I believe that each of us is uniquely created for a purpose and that is why it's so important for us to take care of our health. Your unique gifts, personality, and abilities are irreplaceable--there will never be another YOU! You are part of a larger whole and when you are thriving in body, mind, and spirit, you are better able to have the positive impact you were meant to have on your family, your community, and your world.

The problem…

Our culture is overly preoccupied with losing weight. Yet, we are the most unhealthy we’ve ever been! We need to stop obsessing about “weight” and change our focus to being healthy.

Being a healthy body weight is important but, we can take that to an unhealthy place in our thinking when we focus too much on deprivation and “dieting”.

The solution…

I’ll be honest. I’m out to change our culture. My mission is to teach people to let go of the burden of obsessing about weight and change the focus to caring for self.

When we focus on caring for ourselves in a nurturing, disciplined way that fosters a positive identify and self-respect, we make better choices.

I’m not saying it’s easy to change but, I know it's definitely possible. Being physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually healthy is the key to a fulfilling life and we should not settle for anything less. I've changed my own negative health habits over the years as I've learned more about health and wellness and have helped many others change as well.

My philosophy…

We each face different challenges that could be driving unhealthy behaviors -- lack of knowledge, time management skills, addictions, emotional issues like depression or anxiety, spiritual issues like whether we value our self & feel we have a purpose.

The key is figuring out what influences your choices, and developing a game plan for change.

My “whole-person” approach to wellness makes sense because each behavior affects another. Say you're overeating because you're stressed and fatigued.  You're tired so you don't have any energy to exercise, which makes you feel bad about yourself. This causes you to be unhapppy and irritable, which can zap the fun and life out of your relationships…and the cycle continues. One bad habit perpetuates another. The key is to interrupt the cycle by changing one behavior and building on that momentum over time.  This is the best method I have found to create sustainable, positive health habits.

My goal is to help you discover the insights you need for better physical, emotional, and spiritual health as well as the practical strategies and encouragement to make authentic, long-lasting change. Working together, I know that you can grow into becoming healthier than you knew possible.

Let’s work together…
